This plan, provided through MetLife, helps you offset the cost of hospital inpatient stays. You can be paid up to $2,000 when you are admitted to the hospital and stay 24+ hours. It also pays for each day you are there, up to $400 per day. Premium deductions for the Hospital Indemnity Plan are taken from your paycheck after taxes. Rates are available online during enrollment.
Eligibility
If you regularly work 30 or more hours per week, you are eligible for benefits. You won’t be able to change your benefits until the next enrollment period unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event. If a Qualifying Life Event occurs, you have 30 days to request changes to your coverage.
