This plan, provided through MetLife, helps you pay for out-of-pocket costs that arise when you have an accident such as fractures, dislocations, and lacerations. In the event of a covered accident, the plan pays cash benefits fast to help with the costs associated with out-of-pocket expenses and bills. Premium deductions for the Accident Plan are taken from your paycheck after taxes. Rates are available online during enrollment.
Eligibility
If you regularly work 30 or more hours per week, you are eligible for benefits. You won’t be able to change your benefits until the next enrollment period unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event. If a Qualifying Life Event occurs, you have 30 days to request changes to your coverage.
